2026 Smith County Fair Pageants are sponsored by:
1. Entry fee is $35. NO REFUNDS. Open to all counties.
2. Contestant is and always has been a female and is between the age of 10-12 years of age for Junior FOF and 7-9 years of age for Petite FOF by the June 30, 2026. The pageant director has the right to request proof of age.
3. Dress must be formal and floor length. Judges will strongly consider the contestant’s make-up and dress. Contestants need to “look their age”. Contestants in Miss Petite may have MINIMAL make-up. Flippers (fake teeth) and hair pieces/ wigs will NOT be permitted.
4. Entrant will continue to be a person of good moral character, affi rms that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and convictions or that reflect unfavorably on the Smith County Fair Pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or the county.
5. The deadline to enter the pageant is June 22, 2026, and all entries must be postmarked by that date. Late entries will be accepted through June 26, 2026, with an additional $20 late fee applied.
6. Contestant, parent, and/or legal guardian must agree to abide by all pageant rules, regulations and must sign release form.
7. Winner will be REQUIRED to attend some fair events and make appearances during her year of reign. Appearances are at the discretion of the chairperson and/or executive board members. The winner cannot make appearances without the consent of pageant director and all appearances are at the discretion of the pageant director and/or executive board members. If the queen does not attend required events, she must give up her crown to the first runner-up.
8. There will be a Most Photogenic Award. The entry fee is $10. The photo MUST be a 5×7 or smaller. Please submit a photo with your entry or bring your photo the day of the pageant. Photo will be returned the night of the pageant.
9. There will be a People’s Choice Award for the most $1 votes. (A crown will be given to winner)
10. Judges will choose a Winner, First Runner Up, and Second Runner Up. Judges decisions are final.
11. Fee must be paid by the deadline of June 22, 2026. Payment should be made in exact cash or with a check. Late entries will be accepted through June 26, 2026, with an additional $20 late fee applied.
12. June 22, 2026 will be an OPTIONAL come and go day to practice on stage before the pageant at the Ag Center from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
