2026 Smith County Fair Pageants are sponsored by:

1. Entry fee is $35. NO REFUNDS. Open to all counties.


2. Contestant is and always has been a female and has reached her 16th birthday by the date of pageant, but not her 21st birthday on or before December 31, 2026. Pageant staff has the right to request proof of age.


3. Contestant cannot qualify to compete if she is married, ever been married, is pregnant, ever been pregnant or been convicted of a felony. Winner must relinquish crown if she gets married, gets pregnant or is convicted of a felony during her year of reign.


4. The contestant must maintain good moral character and agree not to engage in any behavior that refl ects negatively on the Smith County Fair Pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or the county.


5. The winner is required to compete at the state pageant/convention January 2027 in Murfreesboro. All entry fees and lodging will be covered by fair association. The event includes participation in activities throughout the three day convention, and the winner will miss approximately 1.5 days of school. If the winner is unable to attend, the crown will be forfeited and awarded to the first runner-up.


6. The deadline to enter the pageant is June 22, 2026 and all entries must be postmarked by that date. Late entries will be accepted through June 26, 2026, with an additional $20 late fee applied.


7. Contestant, parent, and/or legal guardian must agree to abide by all pageant rules, regulations and must sign release form.


8. Dress must be floor length formal.


9. The winner is required to attend designated fair events and appearances throughout her reign, as determined by the pageant director and /or executive board. All appearances must be approved in advance. Failure to attend required events will result in forfeiture of the crown to the first runner-up.


10. There will be a Most Photogenic Award. The entry fee is $10. Photo MUST be a 5×7 or smaller. Submit photo with entry or bring photo the day of pageant. Photo will be returned the night of the pageant.


11. There will be a People’s Choice Award for the contestant with most $1 votes. (A crown will be given to winner)


12. Judges will choose a Winner, First Runner Up, and Second Runner Up. Judges decisions are final.


13. June 22, 2026 will be an OPTIONAL come and go day to practice on stage before the pageant at the Ag Center from 5:00-7:00 p.m.


14. Fees must be paid by the deadline of June 22, 2026. Payment should be made in exact cash pr with a check. Late entries will accepted through June 26, 2026, with an additional $20 late fee applied.


15. Interview attire must be business casual attire.
